APIs and OpenAPI
Most setups only need a library guide or the AI assistant setup. Use the APIs below when connecting a custom job or building a management tool.
Report job runs
The ingestion API at https://cron.life receives job pings and scheduler registrations. Authenticate with the application's deployment key, stored as CRONRADAR_API_KEY.
Send a scheduled heartbeat after a successful run. Use start and fail events when you also need running-state and failure reporting.
Manage a workspace
The management API at https://api.cronradar.com/api/agent/v1 lets an assistant inspect applications, jobs, runs, and alerts. Writes depend on the permissions you grant.
Connect your assistant to get temporary workspace access. The first request is GET /context. Use the temporary token as a bearer header only on this API; it is separate from the deployment key.

OpenAPI downloads
OpenAPI is the complete machine-readable contract: every endpoint, parameter, response, and error. Import a schema into an API client or give the URL to a coding agent. You do not need to read the whole file to install monitoring.
Both files are generated from the API contracts. Examples contain placeholders, never account credentials.
